The Mad Ones: A Digital Piece of Theater (2020)

Bertone was engaged by Kait Kerrigan and Bree Lowdermilk to be involved in the collaborative process of turning their off-Broadway musical The Mad Ones into a digital piece of theater. In this COVID-19 world, Bertone wanted to explore how theater artists can safely create, collaborate, and connect even when hundreds of miles apart. Bertone served as creator, director, and choreographer of “Moving On,” which was filmed and/or edited in 10 different states and 20 different cities across the United States.

Spring Awakening: A Virtual Production (2020)

Bertone choreographed the number “The Mirror-Blue Night” for the virtual production of Spring Awakening, produced by Jake Egan, starring Tony Award winner Alice Ripley, Tony nominee Beth Malone, and Broadway actor John Arthur Greene.
